Kitchen and Bathroom Designer
Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail oriented Kitchen and Bathroom Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, strong technical skills, and the ability to transform client needs into functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bathroom spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Create detailed kitchen and bathroom designs using CAD software or other design tools.
- Recommend materials, appliances, and finishes that align with the client’s vision.
- Prepare cost estimates and present design proposals.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure successful project execution.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and innovations.
- Ensure designs comply with building codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience as a Kitchen Designer or Interior Designer with a focus on kitchens is preferred,
but full training will be provided. - Proficiency in design software.
- Strong understanding of kitchen ergonomics, layout planning, and cabinetry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with showroom design or retail environments.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
